Whilst I was working in my studio last week I thought I would have a bit of fun and video me working on some of my jewellery at the embellishment stage. Don't worry I have sped it up and so it is only a couple of minutes long! Take a look and please let me know what you think in the comments at the bottom.

Jenny, I take each piece as it comes really. I will have a very brief thought as to how I want it to look but it will then evolve as I go. Sometimes I think I know how it will look but then it doesn’t fit the picture in my head and so I will add more until it ‘feels’ right.

Sarah, it is just PVA but the tiniest smidge so that the glue in the base has a greater stickiness to pull it off the tool! It’s funny how I don’t notice the planes now unless I have taken a video and there it is!

Wow! What is the glue? it just looks like pva, but how do you pick up those tiny beads on the brush? Just with a bit of sticky on the end? I am very curious as to how you get them to let go of the brush, if that’s the case. It was so fast, I’m sure I am missing something. Not the flight-path, though!

amazing to see!
I wondered if you know the design at the start and you tend to stick with that or if you had a general sense (e.g a star burst/ spiral) which evolves as you go?
