Gelli Plate Stencils

Creating a Gelli Plate stencil using a glue gun is a simple and effective technique that can add unique designs to your artwork. The glue gun, commonly used for bonding materials together, can also be utilized to create intricate stencils for various art projects.

To begin, ensure you have a clean and smooth surface to work on. Plug in your glue gun and allow it to heat up until the glue is melted and ready for use. Once the glue gun is heated, carefully squeeze the hot glue onto a non-stick surface in the desired stencil design.

Keep in mind that simple designs work best for this technique, as intricate details may be challenging to achieve with the hot glue. However, you can experiment with different shapes and patterns to create a variety of stencils.

Allow the hot glue stencil to cool and harden completely before removing it from the non-stick surface. Once cooled, carefully peel off the stencil from the surface. Your homemade Gelli Plate stencil is now ready for use!
