Handbound journal / notebook / diary - fern design

Notebook/ journal with an original cyanotype print cover in a fern design and brass book corners. This book is perfect for making notes, sketching or as a diary.

Cyanotype is a photographic process where two chemicals, when mixed, become light sensitive and can be used to create photographs using sunlight. 

In this design plant material was used to mask the area and those parts remained pale whilst the other areas developed a darker blue colour.
