Cyanotype tote bag - large - horse chestnut leaf design

An original cyanotype (sun printed) printed tote bag. 100% organic cotton measuring approximately 47 cm x 37 cm and 12cm gusset with 58cm long handles.

Cyanotype is a photographic process where two chemicals, when mixed, become light sensitive and can be used to create photographs using sunlight. 

In this design horse chestnut leaves were used to mask the area and those parts remained pale whilst the other areas developed a darker blue colour. 

This bag is an original, unique design. Due to the process there is likely to be marks on the handles and reverse of the bag from the cyanotype dye. It is in stock and will be dispatched within 2 working days of purchase.
